Terms of Sale

1. General Information

These Terms of Sale ("Terms") govern the purchase of products from TeaTime Chinese Souvenir (the "Site"), operated by TeaTimedia Limited, a limited company registered in Hong Kong, operating in France ("we," "us," or "our"). By placing an order on the Site, you agree to be bound by these Terms, our Legal Notice, and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not place an order.

2. Order Acceptance

All orders placed through the Site are subject to our acceptance. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order for reasons including but not limited to product availability, errors in pricing or product descriptions, or suspected fraudulent activity. You will be notified via email if your order is not accepted.

3. Pricing and Payment

• Pricing: All prices are listed in Euros (€) and include applicable French Value Added Tax (VAT) unless otherwise stated. Prices are subject to change without notice. We are not responsible for pricing errors, and we reserve the right to correct any inaccuracies.
• Payment Methods: We accept payments via major credit/debit cards and other methods available through Shopify’s payment gateway. All payments must be made in full at the time of purchase.
• Currency: Transactions are processed in Euros (€). If your payment method is in another currency, your bank may apply exchange rates or fees, for which we are not responsible.

4. Shipping and Delivery

• Shipping Destinations: We ship to countries where Shopify operates, including France, other European Union countries, and select international countries. Please check the shipping options at checkout or contact us for specific availability.
• Shipping Costs: Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on the destination, weight, and shipping method selected.
• Delivery Times: Estimated delivery times vary by destination and shipping method. We aim to process orders within 2-3 business days. Delivery times are estimates and not guaranteed, as delays may occur due to customs, carrier issues, or other factors beyond our control.
• Title and Risk: Title and risk of loss pass to you upon delivery of the products to the shipping address provided.

5. Returns and Refunds

• Return Policy: You may return products within 14 days of delivery, as per EU consumer protection laws, provided the items are unused, in their original condition, and in their original packaging. To initiate a return, contact us at nathan@teatimechinese.com.
• Return Process: You are responsible for return shipping costs unless the product is defective or incorrectly shipped. Refunds will be issued to the original payment method within 7 business days of receiving the returned item.
• Non-Returnable Items: Personalized or custom-made souvenirs are non-returnable unless defective.
• Defective or Damaged Products: If a product arrives damaged or defective, please notify us within 48 hours of delivery. We will provide a replacement or refund at our discretion.

6. Product Warranties

Products sold on the Site are covered by a statutory warranty of conformity under French and EU law for a period of two years from delivery. This warranty covers defects in materials or workmanship under normal use. To make a warranty claim, contact us at nathan@teatimechinese.com with proof of purchase and details of the issue.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by French law, TeaTimedia Limited shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your purchase or use of products from the Site. Our liability is limited to the purchase price of the product in question.

8. Force Majeure

We are not liable for delays or failure to fulfill orders due to events beyond our control, including but not limited to natural disasters, strikes, or customs delays.

9. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of France. Any disputes arising from your purchase shall be resolved in the competent courts of France.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Your continued use of the Site after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
